The Cintas Business Student Ambassadors strive to promote excellence, unity, and service
in the College of Business & Economic Development at the University of 51¶ºÄÌ Mississippi
through representation, recruitment, service, and facilitation. Ambassadors play a
critical role in recruiting prospective students, engaging current students, fostering
alumni relations, and maintaining sound relationships with corporate partners.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as hosts and hostesses at campus events
- Assist at off-campus events
- Assist the Dean’s Office with various business events
- Provide tours of Scianna Hall to guests and prospective students
- Engage in fundraising and community service activities
- Assist in recruiting prospective students
- Assist in engaging current students
- Interact with alumni, corporate partners and guests
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be enrolled in a degree program in the College of Business & Economic Development
- Must be enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester
- Must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
- Must commit to a minimum of one full year as an Ambassador
- Be able to speak to their experiences in the College of Business & Economic Development and 51¶ºÄÌ Miss
- Be well-rounded and a positive role model to prospective and new students
- Have strong public speaking skills
- Be able to lead a small group and work one on one with other students
- Have the ability to positively present the attributes of the College of Business & Economic
- Development and 51¶ºÄÌ Miss
- Demonstrate the ability to interact with diverse groups
- Demonstrate leadership skills, initiative, dependability, open-mindedness, and self confidence
- Have the ability to work in a team environment
- Have efficient time management skills and the ability to adapt to change
- Have strong communication skills within teams
