Tutoring Services
The School of Accountancy offers in-person or virtual accounting tutoring sessions by appointment. Please reach out to Jeevan.KarkiFREEMississippi to schedule an appointment during the following times:
Monday: 2:00-4:00pm; 6:00-7:00pm (virtual only)
Tuesday: 1:00-3:00pm
Wednesday: 1:00-3:00pm; 6:00-7:00pm (virtual only)

The School of Finance offers in-person tutoring for BA 201, BA 260, and FIN 300 courses.

The Speaking Center has peer consultants who will help students advance their public speaking skills for speeches, presentations, job interviews, and other off-campus speaking engagements. These services are by appointment only. Appointments are for up to 45 minutes.

The University Writing Center is a free service available to any student that wants assistance with a writing project. They offer one-on-one writing instruction that’s designed to help students become more effective writers. Tutorial service is offered on a walk-in basis and by appointment for 35 minutes to an hour per session. However, services do book up – so making an appointment is always a good idea, especially around midterms and finals.

The Math Zone is an interactive mathematics learning environment. Recognizing that education in basic mathematics is critical for success in life, the Math Zone was created in 2007 to provide students with individualized “just-in-time” support using the latest technology along with innovative learning strategies.
