Do you want to take your professional abilities to the next level? Professionals who have received preliminary training in the DuBard Association Method® are eligible and encouraged to participate in the practicum, which builds upon the Basic Course and provides guidance in using the higher levels of the DuBard Association Method®.

Topics Covered

  • Implementation of specific levels of the DuBard Association Method® 
  • Establishment of proficiency in oral and written skill development, utilizing specific multisensory techniques
  • Informal evaluation of participant’s oral and written competency
  • Planning for new instruction
  • All requirements necessary to meet IMSLEC Teaching Level Standards for supervised practicum

 

Suggested Participants

  • Individuals who have completed the DuBard Association Method Basic Course® or SHS 432

 

The DuBard Association Method® training course of the DuBard School for Language Disorders at The University of 51¶ºÄÌ Mississippi holds accredited status from the International Multisensory Structured Language Education Council (IMSLEC) for its instructional programs at the teaching, instructor of teaching, therapy, and instructor of therapy levels.

ASHS

The USM DuBard School for Language Disorders is approved by the Continuing Education Board of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) to provide continuing education activities in speech-language pathology and audiology.
