Dr. Lachel Story

Bio
Dr. Lachel Story is a tenured Professor and Dean at The University of 51¶ºÄÌ Mississippi College of Nursing and Health Professions. Since beginning her career at 51¶ºÄÌ Miss in 2004, she has taught in the baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral nursing programs. Dr. Story received her BSN and MSN from 51¶ºÄÌ Miss and my PhD in Nursing from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Her program of research includes funded community-based participatory research projects with a focus on community health worker and health disparities. Recently, she expanded that research to include nursing education issues. Dr. Story has publications and presentations regarding her research, innovative teaching strategies, and program evaluation. She has published a pathophysiology textbook with the 4th edition pending and an advanced pathophysiology textbook in its 1st edition.
