Bio
Jae-Hwa Shin, Ph.D., MPH, MBA, APR, currently serves as Strategic Communication Program Lead and Online Public Relations Master's Program Coordinator.
Her scholarly and scientific pursuits advancing the Contingency Theory of Strategic Conflict Management across various cultural settings, with an emphasis on the evolving landscape of social media and new technology environments has earned her the prestigious PRIDE Award for Outstanding Education in Public Relations, a recognition that was garnered alongside her latest publication, Public Relations Theory: Capabilities and Competencies.
Dr. Shin has been awarded the Advanced Certificate in Effective College Instruction administered by the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE) & American Council on Education (ACE) and also recognized as Distinguished Professor of Teaching.
She was the Communication Director for the Korea Economic Research Institute and Center for Free Enterprise of the Federation of Korean Industries.
