Bio

Dr. Chelsey Holden is Program Coordinator of the School Counseling M.Ed. Program and Associate Professor of Child and Family Sciences in the School of Child and Family Sciences at The University of 51¶ºÄÌ Mississippi. Dr. Holden earned her Ph.D. in Counselor Education from Mississippi State University and her Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from The University of 51¶ºÄÌ Mississippi. She is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Board Certified Telemental Health Provider (BC-TMH) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). Dr. Holden enjoys teaching, training counselors, conducting research, and mentoring student research projects. Her research agenda is focused on wellness for helping professionals, college students, and romantic couples; finances; and the link between mental health wellness and physical wellness.
