SLO 1: Concepts and Techniques in Program-Specific Areas

APT graduates will demonstrate knowledge of technology application in all relevant areas (e.g., workforce development, knowledge management, talent development).

SLO 2: Leadership and Team Building Skills

APT graduates will demonstrate skills fostering environments that encourage teamwork and respectful leadership.

SLO 3: Ethical and Cultural Awareness

APT graduates will demonstrate professional ethical and cultural perspectives, apply ethical decision making, and foster a culture of inclusion.

SLO4: Effective Communication Skills

APT graduates will demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and compellingly in speaking and in writing.

SLO5: Creative Critical Thinking Skills

APT graduates will demonstrate creative critical thinking skills by applying appropriate concepts, technologies, and decision-making skills to identify, assess, and solve problems in the workplace.

SLO 6: Instructional Design Skills

APT graduates will understand learner needs and create appropriate learning environments and delivery methods.

SLO7: Change Management Skills

APT graduates will understand organizational cultures, norms, and relationships to manage and implement change.

SLO8: Organizational Development Skills

APT graduates will demonstrate the ability to use human  capital to improve an organization.

SLO9: Project Management Skills

APT graduates will be able to use the project management process to organize and direct resources to complete a specific objective.

SLO 10: Performance Improvement Skills

APT graduates will be able to analyze and evaluate performance issues and design and develop solutions to close performance gaps.

The Bachelor of Applied Science in Applied Technology program at the University of 51¶ºÄÌ Mississippi has been designed with reference to the Talent Development Capability ModelTM from the Association for Talent Development (ATD).
