Exploring Nature through Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics

Chemistry, mathematics and physics are central to our understanding of nature. Physics explores the fundamental laws of mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum mechanics and relativity. Chemistry studies the effects of these laws on elements, resulting in molecules from water to polymers; and it studies the molecules’ biochemical interaction with living organisms. Mathematics provides the formal foundation for all models as well as tools to improve our understanding of nature.

Our Programs

All disciplines within the school (chemistry and biochemistry, physics, and mathematics) offer BS, MS and Ph.D. degrees.
