Textbook Scholarships
The Fall 2024 application is now closed.
The Center for Student Success awards textbook scholarship funds every semester. To be eligible for funds, you must be a full-time, undergraduate student at 51¶ºÄÌ Miss on either the Hattiesburg or Gulf Park campus. Additionally, scholarship recipients must participate in specified success based programs.
Student Success Library
The Student Success Library is designed to provide access to success materials on
demand. Topics covered include improving study and note taking habits, learning how
to improve time management, thinking critically for college level courses, and setting
goals to keep yourself motivated.

Success Experts
Learn new strategies for academic success with on-demand videos and live presentations by request open to all 51¶ºÄÌ Miss students on the Hattiesburg campus. Sessions are approximately 45 minutes, and hosted by Center for Student Success staff.
Open to all USM students.
CARES
USM CARES is a team of campus professional who respond to reports of concern regarding the academic progress and well-being of students. CARES reports address concerns related to persons making threats to harm themselves or others that pose a significant threat to the University and/or its community.
