Welcome to the 51¶ºÄÌ Miss College of Nursing and Health Professions (CNHP) website. I am thrilled to share with you our extraordinary educational opportunities for students interested in nursing and health care. Our College is comprised of four schools—Health Professions, Professional Nursing Practice, Leadership & Advanced Nursing Practice, and Speech & Hearing Sciences. Students will find programs in allied health, athletic training, audiology, kinesiotherapy, nursing, public health, speech pathology, and therapeutic recreation within those schools.
Currently, professionals working in various healthcare roles have tremendous opportunities and responsibilities for improving health care and responding to emerging health-related crises. These programs at 51¶ºÄÌ Miss provide an inclusive learning environment with diverse educational experiences to prepare healthcare professionals at the baccalaureate, masters, and doctoral levels. Graduates of our programs will be equipped to transform health care and improve the health and well-being of individual patients, families, communities, and populations. Students will work with exceptional faculty who are leaders in their disciplines, accomplished researchers, and skilled educators.
Over the next decade, jobs in health care are projected to be among the top occupations for growth, making this a perfect time to pursue or advance your career in health care. On behalf of the CNHP faculty, staff, students, and alumni, I hope you will come SOAR with us at 51¶ºÄÌ Miss!
